Funding Options

We get that healthcare funding can be a tricky topic. Physio on the Go offers a number of subsidised funding options so that you can stop worrying about cost and start focusing on treatment.

 

If you think you may be eligible for subsidised physiotherapy treatment, speak to your GP to obtain a referral or contact us to book a consultation.

 

Medicare (CDM or EPC)

  • Patients on a Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan (formerly known as Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan), are eligible for Medicare rebates on up to five services per patient, per year.
  • Speak to your GP to find out if you are eligible for treatment under a CDM plan. If you are, your GP will provide us with a referral.

 

Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA) / Gold Card Holders

  • We are no longer accepting new DVA referrals.

 

Transport Accident Commission (TAC)

  • If you have sustained vehicle-related injuries, you may be able to lodge a claim with the TAC subsidise the cost of treatment.
  • If your rehabilitation plan involves physiotherapy treatment, contact Physio on the Go to arrange a consultation.
  • TAC patients pay the full amount of the consultation upon treatment and can contact TAC to receive a partial rebate.

WorkSafe

  • If you have sustained an injury in the workplace, you will need to lodge a claim with your employer.
  • If your Return to Work plan involves physiotherapy treatment, contact Physio on the Go with your claim number to arrange a consultation.
  • WorkSafe patients pay the full amount of the consultation upon treatment and can contact WorkSafe to receive a partial rebate.
  • Please contact WorkSafe or visit their website to find out if you are eligible for cover.

 

Private Funding

  • Private patients do not require a referral from a GP.
  • Depending on your plan, physiotherapy treatment may be claimable under your Private Health Insurance.
  • Please contact your health insurance provider to find out if you are eligible for physiotherapy treatment. As each plan is different, we are unable to tell you exactly how much your rebate will be.
